In the end of chapter 34, I thought that was a huge looking demented dog that got warped into something hideous with the x egg energy. apparently GW forum took that into account and started rumors, and a huge debate started. some people even thought that it was IKUTO who turned into that beasty thing with the x egg energy. pfft. as if! (hawt ikuto would never do that!)
and in chapter 35, the summary included something along the lines of a dog. so people discarded the ikuto idea (which shouldn't have existed before). But some people are still in denial of the Betty idea. well, what gives? oh well, what are your ideas on this hideous monster??
